Seniors as Leaders, Mentors, and Contributors


The Lions Senior Engagement & Community Service Program (LSECS) is a structured initiative designed to promote active aging, reduce social isolation, strengthen mental and physical well-being, and engage seniors as active contributors to community life.

The program recognizes seniors not only as recipients of support, but as valuable leaders, mentors, and knowledge-holders who can continue to serve and strengthen their communities.

  • Reduce loneliness and social isolation among seniors
  • Promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being
  • Enable seniors to participate in meaningful community service
  • Strengthen intergenerational relationships
  • Provide learning opportunities (digital skills, health literacy, civic awareness)
  • Create platforms for seniors to share life experience and mentorship
  • Encourage inclusive, age-friendly community engagement

  • Seniors aged 55+
  • Retired professionals, newcomers, caregivers, and active elders
  • Seniors living independently or in community housing settings
